Am I good enough to be a Christian?
Satan's aim is always to kill and destroy man and his hope. If you and I have a feeling of unworthiness in our heart and we feel that we are not good enough to be a Christian , turn to the Bible and examine our life on the basis of the word of God.
1 John 5:4-5 says like this:
"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" Whether Satan or any man accuses us that we are unworthy to be a Christian it is not from God but from the world. As per the word of God, we must to overcome such false accusation by faith. Man's righteousness is 'like filthy rags' before God.
In Psalms it says that
"all men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God ". There are no exceptions. There is no specific degree attributed to different types of sins. Man's abilities or good works amount to nothing in justifying a person. Salvation comes by faith alone which is granted to man through the grace of God. 'Grace ' is a Gift or in simpler terms it is Gift Received At Christ 's Expense. Hence, no one is worthier than the other in becoming a Christian.
